FauxHarmoniK was born from a simple, personal spark: the desire to transform my own lyrics, themes, and emotional ideas into fully realized songs. After years of carrying lyrics, stories, and themes in my mind, I wanted a space where those creative impulses could finally take shape. FauxHarmoniK became that outlet—a dedicated project where my imagination isn’t limited by genre, rules, or expectations. It’s a place where I can take a phrase, a feeling, or a life experience and watch it evolve into music that sounds exactly the way I envisioned... including many style variations of the same lyrics! This project also reflects a shift in how I want to spend my time. As I move into retirement, creating music isn’t just a hobby—it’s a new chapter. FauxHarmoniK gives me an enjoyable, fulfilling process to dive into whenever inspiration strikes. I get to experiment, explore, tweak, and invent, building each track from the ground up. It’s both a challenge and a joy, pushing my creativity in ways that feel exciting rather than stressful. And while the artistic expression is at the heart of FauxHarmoniK, there's also the hope that these songs might resonate with others. Earning a little money from the music is not just practical—it’s a validation that the stories and sounds I’ve crafted connect with listeners.
